Kävlinge between Coast, Nature and History
In Kävlinge, Järavallen is both a nature reserve and one of the 19 recreational areas managed by Stiftelsen Skånska Landskap. The flat coastal area on Lundåkra Bay serves as an important resting place for many migratory birds, especially waders.

The Salvikens strandängar nature reserve is an important resting and wintering site for many migratory birds. Dagstorps mosse serves as a refuge for several rare and threatened plant species; in spring, orchids, cowslips and marsh marigolds bloom there. Allarps mosse is wet and has no facilities for outdoor recreation.
