Mühbrook borders the northern shore of the 168-hectare Einfelder See and also includes the southwestern shore of Bordesholmer See.

Lake Landscape

The Einfelder See area includes a nature reserve with reed zones and floating-leaved plants. There, it is possible to observe rare waterbirds with binoculars.

At Einfelder See

At Mühbrook’s bathing area on Einfelder See, there is a bathing jetty; it is designated as a summer bathing area. The Sehpunkte circular trail around Einfelder See is an approximately 8-kilometre signposted hiking route with information boards about the lake’s history, flora, fauna and water levels.

Culture and Surroundings

Every March, the Speeldeel of Mühbrook performs Low German plays.

The surrounding area of Mühbrook is home to the Herb Museum, Kreuzkirche Neumünster and Wichernkirche Neumünster. Borkenberg is also located in the surrounding area. The wider regional area also includes the wildlife park, Kleiner Werder, Große Holzinsel and Tempel.
