Lake Parszczenica is a refuge for waterfowl and wetland birds, including mergansers and mute swans.

In Chojnice County, the Greenway cycling route “Naszyjnik Północy” runs through Parszczenica between Śluza and Modziel. A large part of the Zbrzyca River Trail runs through Zaborski Landscape Park.

Built Heritage

Cottage No. 2 in Parszczenica, located at Parszczenica 1, is made of wood, dates from the second half of the 19th century, and is listed in the monument register. The wooden residential building No. 6 in Parszczenica dates from 1924 and is included in the monument register.

The wider regional surroundings of Parszczenica include Siemierzycka Góra mountain, as well as the castles “Bytów - Gotycki zamek krzyżacki XIV I XV w.” and “Człuchów - Zamek krzyżacki z XIVw.”.
