Kultehamn is considerably more compact: The cultural-historical hiking trail in Svanesund on Orust is approximately 4 km long and passes through hilly woodland and moorland. Along the route are 14 croft-house ruins and information boards. The boards explain the history of the croft houses and their construction. The livelihood of the families is also a central theme: It was shaped by small-scale farming and work along the coast.

The Sestervik Konstgalleri offers a cultural addition. In a studio in Svanesund on Orust, it presents a permanent exhibition of glass and watercolour works. The glass and watercolour works form the artistic element; the ship carving belongs to local history. Svanesund is also home to a single, clearly dated example of local history: Only one ship carving has been found on Orust; it dates from 1989.
