Langstedt: Hotels and Accommodation

At the Langstedt launch site, the Treene is still narrow and winding for paddlers. When water levels are low, it may be necessary to carry boats around the Langstedt railway bridge.

Nature

In the Treene lowlands from Eggebek/Langstedt to Treia, the river is considered largely natural. East of the Treene lowlands, Büschauer Holz lies between Langstedt and Hünning; the Büschauer Forest also contributes to Langstedt’s natural landscape.

Water and Trails

Langstedt is part of the 25 km Treene Round Tour, a circular route through forests, meadows, and fields that repeatedly leads to the Treene. The route uses farm tracks, concrete-track roads, asphalt, lightly trafficked roads, and agricultural paths and is currently not signposted.

There is a freely accessible toilet near the Langstedt launch site during the day. It is available to canoeists as well as motorhome visitors using nearby pitches. The key for nighttime access to the toilet and shower is available at the Langstedt inn on the opposite side of the road.

In the Village

Schröders Gasthaus in Langstedt serves modern German cuisine with BBQ influences. Regional and seasonal ingredients take center stage; the inn also offers an in-house grill and a cooking school. The inn includes modern rooms with box-spring beds, Wi-Fi, and private bathrooms.
