Osdorf is located between the Kiel Fjord and Eckernförde Bay in the Dänischer Wohld region.

Culture

The Vater Unser Church in Osdorf was consecrated on the First Sunday of Advent in 1967. The old Osdorf smokehouse is considered worth seeing. In 1999, the Eckernförde church district received a donation of artworks by Ferdinand Thomsen, including the statue “The Sermon on the Mount of the Eight Beatitudes.”

Borghorst Manor is a Baroque manor house. The park surrounding the manor includes a medieval water feature that provides a habitat for various waterbird species. The manor offers accommodation in exclusive rooms and suites; accommodation can be booked there, the riding stable can be visited, and seminars can be held at the manor.

Nature and Leisure

Bürgerpark is located between the Kronsau and the main road. The playground features a climbing structure and a zip line. Information boards provide details about the wildflower meadow, the megalithic tomb, the Kronsau and the history of the park.

Cycling

The Rendsburg-Eckernförde district has five long-distance cycling trails, five e-bike tours and twelve themed routes ranging from 24 to 79 kilometres in length. Some of the routes can be shortened, making them particularly suitable for families.
