Loose: Hotels and accommodation

On the eastern side of the village lies a lowland fen covering approximately 190 hectares, which is protected as a nature reserve.

Nature

Loose is located in the Schwansen countryside on the B203. The Baltic Sea beaches are considered to be about a five-minute drive away; the Schlei region offers opportunities for hiking and swimming.

In the surrounding area of Loose are Noer Strand, the wildlife park, Lindholm and Gallberg.

Culture

The VfL Loose includes a local theatre group that regularly stages performances.

At Rosahl Farm, Schramm Equestrian Centre offers an equestrian facility with an indoor riding arena and outdoor areas. Equestrian events and competitions are held there regularly, including events associated with the Schwansen Cup.
