Fockbek has eight signposted circular cycling routes. They pass through the Fockbek Moor, around Lake Fockbek and along the floodplains of the Sorge and Eider rivers. In addition, a longer Fockbek cycling loop passes through nearby municipalities, follows the floodplains of the Sorge and Eider rivers as well as the shoreline of Lake Fockbek, and leads through parts of the Elsdorf woodland.

Nature

The Fockbek Moor nature reserve can be explored on a municipal cycling and walking loop. A viewing platform offers views across the moor and its plant and animal life.

Culture in the Surrounding Area

In the wider regional surroundings of Fockbek are the Rune Stone, Gottorf Castle, the State Museum, Haithabu, the wildlife park and Mövenberg. The Jevenstedt St. George's Church is located near Fockbek; Aschberg is also in the vicinity of Fockbek.
