Lockwisch: Hotels and accommodations

Lockwisch combines a historic village structure with tangible traces of rural development. Protected buildings and preserved farmsteads make changes in rural life and economic practices from the 18th to the 20th century comprehensible.

History

The area around Lockwisch Farm is also home to the remains of an old Wendish fortification, with an embankment and preserved rampart remains. It may have been connected to the center of the Slavic Terra Boytin.

Getting around

A cycle path was built along the Wahrsow–Lockwisch road in 1993.

Rosenhagen Beach and Buchhorst are located in the vicinity of Lockwisch; Dassow and its St. Nicholas Church are also nearby.
