Seehof: Hotels and Accommodations

Seehof is located directly on the western shore of Lake Schwerin Outer Lake. The shoreline landscape is considered a lake landscape, while the Seehof bathing area on the western shore of Lake Schwerin has a footbridge, a large sunbathing lawn, and play facilities.

Culture and Local Life

The Schwerin State Museum and the Schwerin-Zippendorf Television Tower are located in the area surrounding Seehof. Also located there are St. Mary’s and St. John’s Cathedral, Schwerin, as well as Schwerin Cathedral.

Seehof is of archaeological interest because Stone Age tools were found there. Local activities in Seehof include a dragon boat festival, a craft market, an Easter bonfire, and a summer festival held jointly with the care center.
