Klein Trebbow: Hotels and Accommodations

Klein Trebbow is situated in a small terminal moraine landscape with forests, farmland, a park, and avenues connecting the five districts.

Nature and Park

The protected Klein Trebbow landscape park was developed as a natural and recreational area, improving the visitor experience in the process. It serves locals and guests as a meeting place and recreational area and is one of the region’s defining historic parks.

The park’s further development included the construction of a new jetty and a fish nature trail at Lake Trebbow. The fish nature trail provides visitors with information about native fish, aquatic ecology, and sustainable fishing.

The jetties at Lake Trebbow are not a public bathing area. There is neither water supervision nor lifeguard supervision there.

History and Culture

The tea house in Klein Trebbow was used in spring 1944 for preparatory discussions related to the attempted assassination of July 20, 1944. Trebbow Tea House was inaugurated in 2004 as a memorial site for resistance against dictatorships, civic courage, and civic engagement. Visits to the tea house are possible exclusively as part of organized program events.

The church in Groß Trebbow preserves a Baroque pulpit altar ensemble created by the Wismar master Wilde in 1689 and 1691. In the church in Kirch Stück, the stained-glass window in the northern choir dates from around 1300; it depicts a crucifixion scene and a knight.

WerkStück is a gallery and sales space for utilitarian ceramics and handicrafts made of ceramic, wood, and metal. The pieces are created in its own workshop, alongside changing exhibitions.
