A newly established park in Testorf-Steinfort offers opportunities for sports, play, and relaxation. A forest on the edge of the village invites visitors to go for walks.
Nature and trails
A cycle path runs parallel to the B 208 through the municipal districts of Schönhof and Fräulein-Steinfort. Seefeld is situated on the southern edge of a forest along the road between Schönhof and the road toward Schwerin. Wüstenmark lies on the Stepenitz.
Village views
Wüstenmark has preserved large parts of its former structure as an old farming village. Testorf displays the typical structure of an estate village with a manor house, pond, barns, and former farm laborers’ houses.
Estate history
The Testorf-Steinfort estate complex is largely preserved. It includes a manor house, stables, barns, a pond, and farm laborers’ houses. In the first half of the 19th century, the tenant family Neckel managed the Testorf and Steinfort estate, which covered approximately 522 hectares.
Schönhof Manor House was built around 1870; parts of the house date from 1750. It features late Neoclassical architectural elements. Schönhof Manor House can only be visited as part of the program.
