History and Landscape

Dupulčiai was first recorded in 1769 in an inventory of Kretinga District. In 1927, the settlement was divided into individual farms. The Jauryklas, a tributary of the Akmena, flows through Dupulčiai.

Leisure

The renovated public children's playground in Dupulčiai has replacement equipment. It includes two swings, a permanently installed outdoor table tennis table, and benches. The play area features a honeycomb pattern.

Cultural Facets

Kretinga is considered one of the oldest cities in western Lithuania. Atostogų Park, located in the Kretinga area, is a destination for wellness and sauna experiences. A Japanese garden there is also suitable for meditative walks.

Local Life

At an agricultural festival planned in Dupulčiai, visitors were to be served dishes prepared from produce grown by local farmers. A ploughing festival of Kretinga District was also scheduled to take place in the fields of Dupulčiai. It was intended as part of a local agricultural tradition associated with the beginning of the harvest season.
