Hiking trails and active days
The “Miško Katedros Takais” walking trail starts in Juodkrantė and is 6 kilometres long. The “Kuršių Niūrija” walking trail starts in Preila and measures 5 kilometres. The route from Juodkrantė is therefore one kilometre longer. Local conditions may change; check them before setting out.
The health trail in Neringa has nine outdoor exercise stations. The equipment can be adapted for adults of different ages and fitness levels. Check its availability on site. The health trail system in Klaipėda District comprises three circular routes totalling 12 kilometres.

Delta, coast and nature observation
Nemunas Delta Regional Park encompasses shallow bays of the Curonian Lagoon, wetlands, Rusnė Island and the Ventė Cape peninsula. Olandų Kepurė Hill is continuously eroded by wave action. Its slope descending towards the sea is 20 to 22 metres high. The “Litorina” ecological educational trail also runs through this same protected landscape area. Along the trail there are signs, information boards, viewpoints and shelters. The route combines on-site wayfinding with several designated viewpoints.
On the western shore of a lake near the road to the village of Minija, there is an observation tower offering views of the lake landscape and birdlife. Access conditions may change; check them before visiting. Lake Plocis is a resting place for migratory birds and has a birdwatching hide. At Ventė Cape, the museum and visitor centre of the ornithological station offer insights into the history of bird migration and bird ringing.
In Dreverna, a 15-metre-high observation tower offers views of Nagliai Nature Reserve and the Curonian Lagoon. Its height and the stated views provide specific guidance for this viewpoint; this does not imply any current opening conditions.
Maritime culture, amber and other excursions
The Lithuanian Sea Museum includes an aquarium, exhibitions on the history of shipping, a dolphinarium, a rehabilitation centre for Baltic Sea animals and a dolphin-assisted therapy centre. Individual exhibitions and services may change. The Palanga Amber Museum is housed in the manor palace of Count Feliksas Tiškevičius in Birutė Park.
