On the west coast of North Langeland lies Stoense Havn Beach by the Stoense holiday home area. Stoense Havn Beach has fine sand, few stones on the beach and seabed, as well as shallow water, and is considered particularly child-friendly. A bathing jetty provides direct access to the water. Stoense Church is part of the cultural side of the area. It is one of the few churches in Denmark whose tower is on the east side. Stoense Church has two glass mosaic windows created by Maja Lisa Engelhardt in 2005. This adds a clear cultural connection to the coast, which you can take into account when choosing where to stay.

Craftsmanship and local connections

In Stoense, Potteriet is a pottery workshop with an adjoining shop on North Langeland. At Potteriet, all the ceramics are shaped by hand on the potter’s wheel in the workshop. If you want to include craftsmanship in your choice of location, the production process here stands as a separate theme alongside the beach and church motifs. Himmel og Hav, also known as Grevegaarden, is described as a farm shop in Stoense on North Langeland and is located directly behind the church and village pond. Another historical connection

A Stone Age kitchen midden from the Ertebølle culture is located 300–400 metres south of Stoense Havn.
