Rekowo: Hotels and Accommodation

Rekowo is associated with a documented archaeological burial mound. Evidence of cremation burials belonging to the Lusatian culture dating from around 1200 to 700 BC has been found there; the site was later reused during the period of Roman influence, around AD 70 to 230.

Culture

Decorated neck-ring necklaces dating from around 750 to 600 BC were found in the forests near Rekowo. This finding connects the wider area with the cultural history of the Lusatian and Pomeranian cultures.

Rekowo is located in the municipality of Polanów, in Koszalin County and the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Święta Góra is located near Rekowo; the wider regional area also includes krag zamek and Czarcia Góra.
