Talki is home to four named lakes: Pamerek, Osiołek, Talki Małe, and Talki Wielkie.

Nature

In the wider regional surroundings of Talki are Lipowa Góra and Szeroki Ostrów. In the nearby area, two natural monuments can be found in one of the forests surrounding Talki: a large glacial erratic and a group of oak trees.

Geographical location

Talki is classified as a sołectwo, i.e. a village administrative unit, within the municipality of Wydminy.

History and culture

Talki was founded in 1539. A historic cemetery lies on a hill amid overgrown vegetation. There is also a branch chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Częstochowa, which belongs to the parish of Our Lady of Gietrzwałd in Zelki.
