Ryn is home to a Teutonic Order castle whose construction began in 1337. This gives the town a clear historical focus, which continues in several locations throughout the townscape.
History and Townscape
An evangelical chapel is located on Partyzantów Street. The street leads towards a hill with a historic cemetery and a cemetery chapel dating from the early 20th century. Another hill is home to a 19th-century windmill in the Dutch style, offering views of Ryn, the surrounding area and Lake Ryńskie.
