Weißenhäuser Strand has a three-kilometre-long sandy beach. The holiday park combines beach relaxation with the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, the Adventure Jungleland, the Dünenbad spa with wellness and fitness facilities, and a water park offering wakeboarding and water skiing.
The on-site dining options include an Italian osteria, the Sonnenrose speciality restaurant, and other restaurants, bistros, bars and cafés.
Nature
The Weißenhäuser Brök protected area comprises various dune formations, dry dune grassland and heath vegetation. It is home to a diverse community of plants and animals, including highly endangered species.
Weißenhäuser Brök is located in the southeast of Hohwacht Bay and is one of the largest dune areas on the Baltic Sea coast of Schleswig-Holstein. An area of 57 hectares was designated as a nature reserve in 1942; the area is also part of the Natura 2000 network.
Geographical setting
Kleeberg is located in the immediate vicinity of Weißenhäuser Strand. Sehlendorfer Strand and Pesberg are situated in the surrounding area. In the wider regional area are Kloster Cismar, Salzau, Riemannstein, Möweninsel and Kleingärten.
