Geographical location

The Tuchomie municipality lies on National Road 20 between Bytów and Miastko. Siemierzycka Góra is located near Ciemno; Nowe Slone (200 m) is also situated in the wider regional area.

Nature

South of Ciemno lies Lake Kamieniczno, which is considered a 32-hectare glacial lake and the source of the Kamienica River. Żurawi Młyn, a historic mill on the Kamienica River that houses an inn, is located in Ciemno. The recreational surroundings of Żurawi Młyn are considered peaceful and characterized by forests and lakes.

Bytów, with a Gothic Teutonic Order castle dating from the 14th and 15th centuries, is located in the area surrounding Ciemno. A 21-kilometre, yellow-marked cycle route begins beside the Tuchomie–Ciemno road; it combines active recreation with natural and cultural attractions around Tuchomie.

Hiking, kayaking, fishing, painting workshops, yoga, cycling, tennis, and volleyball are offered at Żurawi Młyn.
