The Gmina Czarna Dąbrówka is located in the northwestern part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the area of West Kashubia and the Kashubian Lake District. Its landscape includes extensive forest areas, lakes, agricultural land, rivers, and wetlands.

Nature and Bodies of Water

In the southern part of the gmina, the area belongs to the Słupia Valley Landscape Park. It contains Natura 2000 sites, rivers, backwater reservoirs, and refuges for fauna and flora.

Culture

A local cultural project supports creatives and artists through a group associated with the tourist information office. The workshops include photography, wickerwork, sculpture, painting, and crochet.

Przyjemska Gora is located in the vicinity of Czarna Dąbrówka. In the wider regional surroundings of Czarna Dąbrówka lies Bytów – a 14th- and 15th-century Gothic Teutonic castle. Also located in the wider regional surroundings are wzgore nad Tuchlinkiem, wzgórze nad Szklaną, and wzgórze nad Mojuszewską Hutą.

Waterways

The Upper Słupia kayaking route project encompasses the Słupia and Kamienica waterways; as part of the project, a planned network of kayaking routes with a total length of 93 km was created.
