Gołczewo is located on the border between the Kashubian and Bytów Lake Districts. As a Kashubian locality, it belongs to the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Bytów County and the municipality of Parchowo.

History and Cultural Heritage

In the area surrounding Gołczewo lies Bytów, with a Gothic Teutonic Order castle from the 14th and 15th centuries. In the second half of the 16th century, Gołczewo was a royal village and was then located in Mirachowo County in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. House No. 21 dates from the early 19th century and is listed in the national register of monuments.
