Arriving and getting oriented

The federal highway B 106 crosses Lübesse from north to south. It connects the village to the motorway A 24 junctions at Schwerin-Ost and near Ludwigslust. The nearest rail connections are in Rastow and Sülstorf, each about 6 kilometers from Lübesse.

Cycle paths and landscapes

In the wider Ludwigslust area, the themed cycling tour “Cycling around bog iron ore” conveys historical information in a scenic setting. Cycling maps for the themed excursions are available from the Amt Ludwigslust-Land.

In the wider Lewitz area, the Lewitz cycle circuit follows easy-to-ride paths through typical meadows, dense forests, and traditional villages. The different landscapes form part of a regional context defined by forests, meadows, and rural village character.

Agriculture and regional products

By prior arrangement, AGP Lübesse offers farm tours for interested groups. Visitors can learn how a modern large-scale agricultural operation works and see large tractors. The crops grown also include potatoes.

Regional farm products are available for purchase at the on-site farm shop. Seasonal asparagus is grown by AGP Lübesse and is also available at the farm shop.
