Klemensker: Hotels and Accommodations

Klemensker is an inland town located in central northern Bornholm. It lies between Rønne, Hasle, and Gudhjem, away from the island’s main tourist centers. At the same time, Klemensker is situated at a road junction, approximately 13 km northeast of Rønne, 7 km east of Hasle, and 12 km south of Allinge.

Culture and History

In the center of Klemensker stands St. Clemens Church, which dates from 1882 and replaced a medieval predecessor. The local Klemensker Kro inn was first mentioned in writing in 1564. On the outskirts of Klemensker in the direction of Hasle, Simblegårdsvej is considered one of Denmark’s steepest roads and a popular photo spot.

Nature

In the Klemensker area, Præstemosen is a place to stop for hiking or cycling, with hilly landscapes and open spaces. Præstemosen is also a small pond and natural area near St. Clemens Church. The area is surrounded by grassland, scrub, and small stands of trees that provide habitats for birds, insects, and small animals.
