In the southern part of Stary Borek lies Lake Borek, which covers 10 hectares. Stary Borek is a village in Poland, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Kołobrzeg County and the municipality of Kołobrzeg.

Further afield in the region is Trzebiatow - Zespol palacowo-zamkowy z XVIII w. In the village itself, there is a half-timbered and brick house dating from before 1945, numbered 7, which is described as being of cultural and historical value. The village community centre with a shop section preserves historic window and door surrounds as well as cornice details.

Stary Borek has a railway stop on the Goleniów–Kołobrzeg–Koszalin railway line; the stop is located north of the village. District road 0310Z from Karcino to Kołobrzeg runs through Stary Borek. District road 0251Z connects Stary Borek with Grzybowo over a distance of 3 km.

Cycling

The Ku Słońcu cycle route runs through Stary Borek and is part of a predominantly flat route of approximately 40 km.
