The protected landscape area “Dominikowo-Niemieńsko” encompasses the forest districts of Drawno, Kiełpino, and Dominikowo. The forest areas bearing these names are also recorded in Choszczno County and in the municipalities of Drawno and Recz.

Classification

Kiełpino is located in the municipality of Drawno, in Choszczno County and the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

History

The historic site “Drawno – Zamek rycerski XIV w.” is located in the area surrounding Kiełpino. The wider regional area also contains “Kalisz Pomorski – Zamek XIV w.”.

Five historic sites in Kiełpino are entered in the register of monuments. The figure of five historic sites is attributed to data from the Polish National Heritage Board.
