Dominikowo is located about 6 km southeast of Drawno on the Słopica River, between Dominikowo Małe and Lake Dominikowskie. The village is therefore geographically clearly defined by both its river location and the lake.

Landscape

Dominikowo is associated with the Dominikowo Lakes, which are surrounded by forest. A local path offers views of the lakes; the village also has a beach on the lake.

Trails

A 19 km-long blue hiking trail leads from Nowa Korytnica via Dominikowo to Drawno. Another blue tourist trail connects Dominikowo beach with Drawno, ul. Kaliska.

Culture and history

Dominikowo’s listed heritage includes a former Protestant church, now dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It dates from the late 16th century and has a half-timbered tower from around 1630.

Surroundings

In the vicinity of Dominikowo are Drawno with the 14th-century Zamek rycerski and Kalisz Pomorski with the 14th-century Zamek. In the wider regional area is Tuczno with the 14th-century Zamek rycerski.
