History

The ruins of the railway bridge can be visited on foot. The site can also be seen from a kayak; the kayaking route on the Krutynia passes by it. From the site of the former railway bridge, there is a view across the Krutynia and the surrounding area.

The ruins of the railway bridge are a reminder of the railway line opened in 1898, which connected Ukta with Ruciane-Nida and MrÄ…gowo. The bridge was destroyed in 1945 and never rebuilt.
