KÅ‚usy: Hotels and accommodation

Kłusy is designated as a locality and lies on an isthmus between Lake Kraksztyn and Lake Lipińskie.

Lakescape

Near Kłusy lies Lake Ogródek, with a 5,600-metre shoreline and a highly developed coastline. The lake is very elongated, S-shaped, and has a large southern bay. Lake Druglin Duży lies north of Kłusy. The smaller lakes in the surrounding area include Kępno, Kępienko, and Przykop.

Paths and connections

The blue Kajkowski Trail runs through Kłusy along the Ełk–Orzysz route and is categorised as a hiking trail. A bus stop is located along this route next to the parish church in Kłusy. The route from Kłusy via Ogródek, Rostki Skomackie, Skomack Wielki, and Orzysz follows paths associated with the life of the folk poet Michał Kajka.

Church and history

The present-day church of the Parafia pw. Matki Bożej Wspomożenia Wiernych in Kłusy was built in 1884. In 1947, it was handed over for Catholic worship. The church is a neo-Gothic building and is recognised as a sacred monument.

Transport links

National Road 16 runs through KÅ‚usy on the section between Orzysz and EÅ‚k.
