Konopki Wielkie: Hotels and Accommodation
Konopki Wielkie was founded in 1475 under Kulm law. The village is located in the Gmina of Miłki, in Giżycko County and the Warmian–Masurian Voivodeship.
History
The founding year is also connected with the history of a mill on the Woplick Brook: its construction was approved, and the mill was built in the same year as the village was founded. The brook is now called Bielska Struga; the mill is considered the oldest mill in the former Giżycko administrative district.
In 1906, a railway station named Konopki Wielkie was opened in the village on the Giżycko–Orzysz–Pisz railway line.
Szeroki Ostrów and Lipowa Góra are located in the wider regional surroundings of Konopki Wielkie.
