Tjuvkil: Coast, Swimming Spots and Historical Traces

Tjuvkil combines a distinctive coastal landscape with traces of a long local and transport history. The westernmost part in particular is shaped by the coast: Along the final 400 meters of the western road section, there are views of the sea. At the same time, much of the landscape around Tjuvkil still resembles the landscape of the 19th century, although buildings and new roads were added later. For road orientation, the connection via Road 168 is the key route. It leads to the intersection at Tjuvkil; from there, Road 612 continues to Tjuvkils huvud. The northern part of Tjuvkil offers swimming spots accessible via smaller paths. This northern coastal orientation complements the historical and maritime character around Tjuvkils huvud.
