Tetenhusen: Hotels and accommodations

Tetenhusen Moor is a 205-hectare nature reserve in the Eider-Treene-Sorge river landscape. It has been protected since 1932 and is part of the Natura 2000 network.

Nature

At the freely accessible Tetenhusen school forest, an approximately two-kilometre educational trail leads through a five-hectare woodland area. Information boards about nature, a plant garden, picnic and barbecue facilities, and insect hotels are among the stations and amenities available there. There is also a canoe launch site directly near the Tetenhusen school forest.

Tetenhusen Moor provides a habitat where cranes can raise their young with little disturbance. The Kropp Forestry Office offers guided tours through the moor by arrangement.
