The SeenLand-um-Flensburg recreation area includes hiking and cycling trails, viewpoints, a rest area, and a bathing area. It also features marked circular trails for hikers and cyclists, information boards, official parking areas, picnic areas, and shelters. The area covers approximately 250 hectares and includes nine bodies of standing water.

Culture

The Historic Ox Road runs south from Denmark through Handewitt and is a tourist attraction of historical significance.
