Kletkamp: Hotels and Accommodation

Kletkamp is home to a manor house whose core is a two-storey half-timbered double house dating from 1547. It is considered the oldest manor house in Schleswig-Holstein; the projecting front section dates from 1703.

History and Architectural Heritage

The historic Kletkamp estate was originally a Renaissance moated castle. The surviving historic complex includes the gatehouse and part of the former moat.

Landscape and Trails

Kletkamp Estate is located in the hilly landscape of Holstein Switzerland, with numerous signposted hiking trails and developed cycling routes leading towards the Baltic Sea coast, the large lakes, as well as Eutin, Preetz and Heiligenhafen.

The area around Kletkamp includes Riemannstein, Möweninsel, Bökensberg and Kleingärten. In the immediate vicinity of Kletkamp are Voßberg and Pesberg; in the wider regional area lies Cismar Abbey.

Cycling

A bicycle shop with rental service is located in nearby Lütjenburg.
