Routes and landscapes

An official Route No. 1 begins in front of the church in Linia and ends back in Linia. It is described as a one-day cycling tour or a two-day hike with an overnight stay in the forester’s lodge in Mirachowo. At Lechicka Szczelina, a beautiful view of Jeziora Potęgowskie opens up at kilometer 8.1.

Route No. 2 runs from Niepoczołowice via Bukowina and Folwark Niepoczołowicki to Jezioro Czarne and Potęgowo.

Nature and bodies of water

Around 60 % of the Linia municipality is under statutory protection because it lies within the Kashubian Landscape Park and its buffer zone. According to the Linia municipality, the Łeba River is suitable for organized kayak tours and has the character of a mountain river in places.

Dąbrowa Góra, a mountain, is located near Linia. Jelenia Góra is a hill in the vicinity, as is the wzgórze nad Mojuszem. Pucka Góra is a mountain in the broader regional surroundings of Linia.

Culture and history

Linia was mentioned in documents in 1342 and 1354 and received a location privilege in 1373. In 2026, the XXXI Ogólnopolski Konkurs Haftu Kaszubskiego im. Edmunda Szymikowskiego was held here. For many years, the competition has brought together lovers and creators of Kashubian embroidery from various parts of Poland, promoted Kashubian folk art, and contributed to preserving Kashubian traditions.

Mobility

Linia Zakrzewo railway station is located west of the center of Linia, on the road to Zakrzewo and Lębork. From there, Lębork or Kartuzy can be reached.
