Łebień: Hotels and Accommodation

Łebień is considered a Kashubian village and a Kashubian locality in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. Its history and architectural heritage are reflected in several notable landmarks.

Culture and History

A document dated 20 December 1379 records the granting of property in Łebień under Chełmno law. The Neo-Gothic brick parish church was built in 1882; a monument dated 1905 commemorates those who died in the First World War.

The manor house in Łebień dates from the second half of the 19th century. It has a three-winged layout, Neoclassical façades and a mansard roof. It is listed as object number 65 in the municipal monument register; at the same time, it is falling into disrepair and is used as living space.

Pilgrimage Route

The Pomorska Droga św. Jakuba is regarded as a traditional pilgrimage route that connects the shrines of the Apostle in Lębork and Łeba and passes through Łebień. On the Lębork–Łebień section, Łebień is located at kilometre point 18.2.
