Lauenburg: Hotels and accommodations

Lębork combines a distinctive medieval heritage with a diverse museum collection. The town walls are well preserved; their construction began in 1341 and was completed around 1363. In the southeastern corner of the town, which was granted town rights, there is also a preserved section of the Teutonic Order castle.

Culture and history

The Lębork Museum preserves archaeological, historical, numismatic and ethnographic collections, as well as collections of local art. Temporary exhibitions are also presented at the Strome Schody Gallery. Together with the medieval defensive walls and the preserved part of the Teutonic Order castle, this creates a rich picture of the local cultural and urban history.

Geographical setting

Lębork is located in the Reda-Łeba Valley on the Łeba and Okalica rivers. Lake Lubowidzkie is located nearby to the east. Dąbrowa Góra is situated in the vicinity of Lębork. In the wider regional area are Plaża Łeba and Chodzież; Jelenia Góra is also located in the vicinity of Lębork.

Transport connections

Road connections are provided via DK 6 and DW 214. In rail transport, Lębork is located on lines 202 and 229.
