Szczytno is located near the Brda River and Lake Jezioro Końskie. The “Wokół jezior” cycling route also runs through the town.

Water and Landscape

Lake Jezioro Szczytno Wielkie is a ribbon lake on the northern edge of the Krajeńskie Lakeland and lies within the “Obszar Chronionego Krajobrazu Jezior Krępsko i Szczytno” protected landscape area. The section of the Brda from Dolinka via Jezioro Szczytno and Jezioro Krępsko to Przechlewo is classified as easy.

Active Outdoors

In addition to the “Wokół jezior” route, the “Do Zawady i nad Jezioro Szczytno” trail is also part of the cycling network; it is intended for cycling tourism. Thus, two different cycling connections with a direct link to Szczytno are named, while the Brda section connects the lake landscape across several stages.
