Culture
St. Thomas Church, a 14th-century Brick Gothic church, is located in Damshagen. Among other features, parts of a zigzag frieze and two historic chapels on the north side have been preserved. The church interior contains a 13th-century baptismal font, a pulpit altar from 1724, and an altar crucifix from the 15th century.
The Kussow Stone Age Village is located near Damshagen and within the municipality of Damshagen. It is an open-air museum where a Stone Age settlement was reconstructed between 1996 and 1998; the museum is open to visitors. Bothmer Palace Park is also located nearby.
