Kletzin: Hotels and Accommodations

Kletzin is a municipality in the northern part of the Mecklenburgische Seenplatte district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The village is located about seven kilometers northeast of Demmin and five kilometers south of Loitz. Federal highway 194 runs north of Kletzin, while federal highway 110 runs south of the municipality.

History and Culture

Kletzin was first documented in 1305. Until the mid-16th century, the village was part of the holdings of Verchen Monastery. Around 1560, a ducal domain farm was established in Kletzin.

In the wider region around Kletzin are Schlossberg and Burgwall. The surrounding area is home to St. Bartholomew's Church in Demmin and the village church in Bentzin. Grimmen Zoo is also located in the wider region.
