Warrenzin: Hotels and Accommodations

Warrenzin is a municipality in the north of the Mecklenburg Lake District, west of Demmin and within the Demmin-Land administrative district. The southern boundary of the municipality is formed by the Peene River.

Landscape and Location

Wildberg and Heideberg are located in the immediate vicinity of Warrenzin; Krellenberg is also situated in the surrounding area. The settlement of Warrenzin lies directly on German Federal Highway B110.

History and Culture

Beestland, a locality within Warrenzin, was first documented in 1178. In the Beestland Forest near Beestland stands a former Slavic fortification, locally known as Bärenburg.

The surrounding area of Warrenzin includes Schlossberg, the former monastery church (Schloßkirche) in Dargun, St. Bartholomaei Church in Demmin, and the monastery church in Verchen.
