Biendorf lies between Neubukow, Kröpelin, Kühlungsborn and Rerik. The Baltic Sea coast is approximately 10 km to the north, while the Salzhaff is approximately 10 km to the west.

Biendorf is a municipality in the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is administered by the Neubukow-Salzhaff administrative office from Neubukow.

The municipality includes two larger wooded areas: the 156-hectare Biendorfer Tannen and the approximately 200-hectare Westenbrügger Holz east of Westenbrügge. South of Biendorf lies Lake Neues Torfmoor, which covers approximately 6 hectares. The Hellbach flows through the villages of Jörnstorf and Westenbrügge.
Kieler Ort and Langenwerder are located in the area surrounding Biendorf. Flöhbarg is in the immediate vicinity.
