Skuldelev Grusgrav/Kildeskåret comprises two large areas formerly used for gravel extraction. Together with the lake, this site forms another clear landscape reference, whose former use is explicitly part of the area's history.

Historical and Cultural Points of Reference

The privately run Skuldelev Dukkemuseum og Legetøjssamling was founded in 1989. The frescoes in Skuldelev Church depict, among other things, moral tales, fables and proverbs. The church has a chancel with an apse and a nave dating from the 12th century. Skuldelev Præstegård is a single-storey, four-winged building complex arranged around a large courtyard, and is also a listed building. Another historical reference concerns three decommissioned ships: they were filled with stones and sunk near the village of Skuldelev in the Peberrenden. These subjects range from a private collection through sacred imagery and architectural history to a maritime historical testimony.
