Lake Tuczno, also known as Młyńskie, is a post-glacial, elongated ribbon lake with an area of 129 hectares and relatively clean water.

Nature

Its immediate surroundings include forests, wetlands, and a steep, irregular shoreline. The Runica River flows through the lake.

Culture and History

In the immediate vicinity of Tuczno lies Tuczno – Zamek rycerski XIVw. In the wider regional area are Kalisz Pomorski – Zamek XIV w., Drawno – Zamek rycerski XIV w. and Racza.

Tuczno Castle was once a fortress of the von Wedel family; it was built in the historic borderland between Brandenburg and the Wałcz region.
