Karsibór’s documented history dates back to 1565; until 1832, the place was associated with the Golce family.

History and Townscape

Karsibór is home to a former Protestant church dating from 1819. The simple half-timbered building has a gabled roof and a roof turret. The former manor house is a two-storey rectangular building with a mansard roof, dormer windows and triangular roof projections.

A ring-shaped hillfort rampart has also been preserved near the former manor farm buildings. The ramparts have a circumference of approximately 200 metres.

Nature and Landscape

The manor park dates from the late 19th century and covers 4 hectares. It is connected with the Åšwinia stream and with marshy meadows to the south.

Geographical Location

Karsibór is located in the Gmina Wałcz, in Wałcz County in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, approximately 10 kilometres northwest of Wałcz.
