Lubowo: Hotels and Accommodations

Łubowo is located on the edge of Drawski Landscape Park, on Lake Lubicko Wielkie and amid the surrounding forests. The landscape therefore combines a lake, forest and the protected natural area of the park in the immediate vicinity of the town.

Natural Area

In the area surrounding Łubowo lies Spyczyna Góry. The wider regional surroundings include Szczecinek – Zamek XIV w., Skotna Góra, Połczyn Zdrój – Zamek książęcy XIIIw., Wola Góra and Racza.

Culture

In Łubowo stands the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Neo-Gothic filial church built in 1891 with Lutheran origins, which has been used by the Roman Catholic Church since 1957.

Cycling and Hiking Trails

A marked cycling route runs through Łubowo and follows a circular course via Borne Sulinowo, the Piława River, Rakowo, Lake Rakowo, Lake Komorze and other places. A connection between Łubowo and Borne Sulinowo follows a former railway line and is used by cyclists and walkers. In the wider regional context, the Łubowo–Borne Sulinowo route is part of the Western Lakeland cycling network and connects the heritage of the former railway with forest and river landscapes.

Waterways

Lake Lubicko Wielkie offers opportunities for fishing. Graty Beach is considered a stopping point for kayaking groups following the Karol Wojtyła waterway. The Piława waterway also runs between Lake Lubicko Wielkie and Lake Brody via the village of Łubowo.

Łubowo is located on the Szczecinek–Czaplinek route next to National Road 20.
