Kayaking routes on Lake Studnica
The best starting point for the Gwda canoe trail is Stanica ZHP, a scout hostel in Drezno on the shore of Lake Studnica. The upper section of the canoe trail is 45 kilometers long. It starts at Lake Studnica and ends in Lubnicki Mlyn. This is a clearly defined section of the canoe trail; its length alone does not indicate how long a trip takes or how difficult it is.
The “Pętla Szczecinecka” kayaking route also crosses Lake Studnica, between Drezno and Orawka. The Gwda and “Pętla Szczecinecka” routes meet at the lake and continue together there. A section of the Gwda River from Lake Studnica to Dołga in the village of Gwda Wielka is also part of the “Pętla Szczecinecka” kayaking route. When planning different sections of these waterways, you can distinguish between the 45-kilometer upper section of the Gwda canoe trail and the specified stretches of the “Pętla Szczecinecka.”
The park and cemetery as historical landmarks
Drezno has a park dating from the second half of the 19th century, which is listed in the WEZ monument register. The Protestant cemetery also dates from the second half of the 19th century and is listed in this register. It is in the eastern part of the village, on a wooded rise south of Bielec Stream. The park and cemetery thus offer two distinct historical points of interest: a park and a cemetery whose location within the village is described precisely.
There is also specific information about a jetty for orientation around the waterways: a 12-meter-long and more than 2-meter-wide jetty was launched at Stanica Harcerska in Drezno.
