Podamirowo is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Jamno. Podamirowo is considered a former agricultural settlement and today a tourism and agrotourism centre.

Podamirowo is located in the protected KoszaliÅ„ski Pas Nadmorski landscape area. Approximately 1 km southwest of the village, the Strzeżenica stream flows into Lake Jamno. There are also water connections to nearby Mielno and UnieÅ›cie, as well as marinas, sailing canals and fishing jetties.
