Krzywy Las, a natural monument near the newer residential area of the village and the Dolna Odra Power Plant, is located in Nowe Czarnowo. Krzywy Las consists of pine trees with characteristically curved, deformed trunks. A red tourist trail from Szczecin to Mieszkowice runs through the area.
History
Nowe Czarnowo is a linear village that was formerly a spa and sanatorium settlement. The current character of the settlement was changed by the construction of the Dolna Odra Power Plant.
After the Second World War, a children's sanatorium operated in Nowe Czarnowo for a long time. It was housed in low, semicircular buildings that had been constructed during the war.
