Elgnowo: Hotels and accommodation

Elgnowo is located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in Ostróda County and the municipality of Dąbrówno. A cycling route runs through Elgnowo and forms part of a route through five localities connecting Okrągłe, Lewałd Wielki, Odmy, Elgnowo and Jagodziny.

History

Elgnowo was founded as a settlement between 1317 and 1321. A parish has existed here since 1453. Historical records describe Elgnowo during the period of the Teutonic Order as knightly estates under the commandery of Ostróda. A record connected with Elgnowo from 1908 also mentions a palace, an inn and a school.
